Dr Ceinwen Carlsson
M.B.B.S., FRACGP, DTMH, IBLM
Dr Carlsson is a GP who enjoys tailoring individual care for a broad range of medical and mental health issues. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2002 and obtained fellowship as a GP in 2015 after many years working in critical care medicine.
She holds diplomas in travel medicine, tropical health and mountain medicine which took her to Malawi and trekking as a group doctor summiting Mt Kilimanjaro.
Ceinwen enjoys all aspects of general practice and enjoys continuing professional development holding diplomas in skin cancer medicine and is currently working towards ASLM Fellowship ( Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine). Lifestyle medicine is the application of environmental, behavioural, medical and motivational principles to the management of lifestyle related health problems. Ceinwen aims to prevent and reverse chronic disease through addressing and exploring the underlying root cause.
Despite having a very welsh name she does not speak welsh and please don’t ask her to pronounce that very long place name in Northern Wales
