Dr Daniel Walsh

M.B.B.S., FRACGP

Dr Walsh is from North Queensland and graduated from the James Cook University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery (MBBS). He spent four years working at the Cairns Hospital in areas of emergency medicine, anaesthetics, adult general medicine, cardiology, paediatrics and also worked rurally in Mount Isa and Mossman. Dr Walsh relocated to the Sunshine Coast in 2019, working at the Sunshine Coast Hospital in adult general medicine and respiratory.

Dr Walsh was awarded a Fellowship of the College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023.

Special Interests.

Dr Walsh enjoys all areas of general practice in particular, chronic disease management (diabetes, lung disease, cardiac disease), Geriatric medicine,  preventative health, Paediatrics, men’s health and minor procedures (skin excisions, Iron infusions, Implanon insertion and removal)

Hobbies:

Dr Walsh enjoys spending time with his young family outdoors and can be found at the beach, hiking in National Parks, mountain bike trails or in a local brewery.

Dr Walsh works Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm
