John, born and trained in England, escaped the Northern Hemisphere via Gibraltar and Spain, landing in Stawell, Victoria with his wife Susie, and their young family in 2000.

Having spent the last decade in Ballarat whilst his three daughters completed their education and eventually flew the nest, they found the weather in Ballarat proved a little too reminiscent of England's…

John enjoys all aspects of family medicine and has particular interests in paediatrics, men’s health, dermatology, minor surgery and travel medicine.

Away from work, John is a keen cyclist, traveller, reader, amateur historian and potentially surfing enthusiast!
